this gauge lights up to a red background,
I actually made a mistake in ordering this gauge, cause this same gauge (part no: 5903) comes with white led backlight as an option.

Just few thoughts,
I have tried new southperformance gauge pod kit, but i like this far better than anything.

Oh ok, This was the one i was going to install but got a deal on the Defi one and it lights up blue to match my cluster

Where did you get the gauge, and where did you hook it into? I have a 2012 SEL Tsi, would be interested in doing the same thing.

where did u find the Defi gauge? I have been looking for a color match gauge for ages now.

You can get it online from autometer dealers,
Look for part no: 5903 and i would suggest white led back light.
it is about USD 125. and by the way its mechanical.
