'04 GTi Paint Code

hello,

I have a 2004 Silver GTi and am in need of some touchup paint and my sticker with the paint code is no where to be found. I've heard good things about http://www.automotivetouchup.com and have looked at http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/m...aint-codes.htm. I am still a little confused.

they list two colors, 8e8e and la7w. Any idea what mine might be. I think i've narrowed it down to the la7w, just want to be sure.

They show it as LA7W/8E Did you look at the tag on the back side of the spare tire cover? Thats where it was on my Passat.

Based on your pic, I'd say la7w is correct. I have an 07 Passat that is that color (reflex silver)

The tag is gone/damaged. I had a bad seal on the boot door a while back when the car was sitting and a ton of water got in.

I wasn't sure what the LA7W/8E ment. The one site I was looking at has 8E8E listed as well.

Guess I go with my gu and get teh LA7W and see how it looking.
