    any one know of a good shope where to rebuild an engine

    hey ppl, need a shope where i can get my engine rebuilt...or at least get it honed and resurfaced....i already have one out, need it rebuilt so i can swap it with the one in my gti...

    I got mine done at Ellsworth Machine Shop in Mountain View. They do a lot of local work for other people around here. They are really busy, so you gotta get your stuff in the queue!

    TST just built my engine. Hasselgren Engineering in Berkeley did my head, and they do the blocks for my shop. They are not cheap, but they are very good.
