With the transmission in N most of that is gone. But left in any other gear and stopped, you can feel it. rolling to a stop you get that judder you get driving manual car sometimes. Upside though, the slop that I used to feel in DSG is mostly gone. The car just kinda goes when you tip in. A bit more vibration when the engine is lugged. Less wheel hop on harder initial acceleration from a stop, as well as exiting corner. I am using their softest one also.

I'll be driving 500 miles this weekend and mostly highway, I'll see how that goes on the highway.

I installed one a couple of weeks ago on my 2.5 manual. Love the way it feels, I get a bit of vibration as well, it's really tolerable though. Overall I love it. Shifts are approaching buttery.

It actually wasn't as bad as it could have been. I find continuously switching between rubbing alcohol, a dry shop towel, and an interior wipe works well when removing it

Thanks, they've been on a week and I've already had half a dozen random people compliment them.... it kinda helps that our base model beetles in Canada didn't come with the Heritage wheels, so they are pretty rare up here.... especially bright red ones.

It's MkVI with a MkV front and rear right?
Very happy I debadged the "GTI" off the hatch, installed a black rear hatch emblem and clear corners. Looks so much better now!!!
