Figured out my next DD... 2.5L base SportWagen Toffee Brown Cream Katskinz leather "stanced" (I hate that word, but it applies) and a C2 turbo kit.

$4k direct bolt on... I can install it in my drive way on a Saturday and Sunday. 250 whp.

Im not sure than would work, c2 motorsports still doesnt offer a kit for mk6 based 2.5l, and a toffee brown JSW would make it a '10 2.5l

Hardware AFAIK is the same. For tuning I could go to Revo or Topspeed.
