4.2 engine and transmission for sale

I have two A6 cars that I am parting out.

1. Out of one car (2000 A6 4.2), I have available for sale an engine for $500, and the transmission for $450. The prior owner of this car parked it to repair a leaky oil cooler and never finished the repair. The prior owner told me that both the engine and transmission are in good shape, but I have not been able to test them myself. The engine turns fine.

2. Out of a different car (also a 2000 A6 4.2), I have a transmission available. $450 for the transmission. The engine in this car was hydrolocked, so I was not able to test the transmission. I will probably be selling pieces of this engine.

how many miles on the engine and can you tell me what is the engine code if you have it or send me the vin i will look it up on elsa .

I now have a 4.2 engine for parts. I will be disassembling in the next few days.
