Yea I have had the 7D for about a week now did a video with it but i used it in the wrong format but it still looked amazing. Still have not been motivated enough to do photography with it.
I think i need to take some time off from work and just go and shoot something with it.
Also its hard to go from a Sony NEX5N to a big DSLR the weight is hard to get used to again...

Unfortunately, there are bad eggs in pretty much every, complex digital device ever made and it sounds like you got unlucky. Hopefully it doesn't happen again
