So i have to have the worst luck in the world i was in an accident in my .:R and i won the appeal it was taken off my record and i wasn't surcharged(sounds good right).Well in the mean time of waiting for my court date to appeal the accident i had my license suspended because the accident was considered my fault. I went through the whole suspension with no license 60 days the my court date came and i won it. After already having my license back. so i went through that for nothing. and now i took my .:R off the road and currently and renting garage and storing it. IM broke thats why insurance is to high. just if your wondering why. Then today i was driving my civic si my daily driver and i got hit. Im assuming it was my fault because i was pulling out of a parking lot into a lane of traffic. The thing is i stoppped fine and the guy who hit me was flying down the street he slammed his brakes and skidded right into me i was already stopped before he hit me. Even though he was speeding its still my fault because i was crossing his lane correct? I just dont wanna loose my license agian and i have a feeling i will even if i appeal it i will loose it before i get to go to court like last time.

Need input sorry for being so long i just needed to vent haha Any advice please!

Well, as a person trying to turn onto a road from a parking lot/driveway/etc., it's your duty to make sure it is safe to go.. You might be SOL.

On the flip side, if you had enough time to pull out and come to a complete stop behind other cars, he's responsible for also being able to stop in that time. Plus if he rear ended you, it's partially his fault regardless

You pulled out, if he hit you it obviously wasn't safe for you to have pulled out, so its gonna be your fault.

I disagree because he had the time to pull out and come to a stop behind what I assume was other cars at a light. If this isn't the case, please clarify why you came to a stop OP
