did you have to do anything in particular to get your trial subscription to sirius in your tiguan?
did your tiguan already come with it active or did you have to contact sirius to start your trial run?

With my black 2012 Tiggy, I had to call Sirius to activate it myself. Apparently nothing was done PDI wise prior to delivery. With our 2nd one, it was setup already by the dealer.

Activated by deler but done inproperly so I did not know it. Already had burned thru 2 months by the time I tried to activate and had to fight with Sirius about it. Not nearly as good as XM was.

If you wait a bit after your trial ends, you'll get many "please come back" offers from Sirius. On a portable add-on radio I had in my previous car, they're currently offering me 6 months for $25 total for the "Sirius-everything" package. They also did the same thing for our 2010 Honda Odyssey. Since it is a simple radio only, it obviously does not include the newer features (traffic, weather, etc.) that my Nav system has in my 2012 SEL.
Also as an amusing marketing note, the "Sirius-everything" package does not include...err...."everything". For example, the Howard Stern channels are not in that package. And as a second "huh?" - if you have a Sirius radio in one car and a XM radio in the other, there is no multi-radio discount! It seems that they are "separate" when it comes to billing.
