After a very pleasurable 9 years of ownership I've decided to sell my beloved Corrado. A few of you (Dennis & Mithril) might still be around that have seen the car and can attest to it's condition. The first owner purchased the car new from Norden VW, was quite meticulous and I have all the records from him to prove it, including the original sale paperwork.
I am the second owner and have put under 30,000kms on the car in the nine years that I have owned it (the car now has 112,000miles). The reason why? It's NEVER seen the winter during my ownership and even in the summers it sees limited duty. She was Miss January in the 2007 CCC Calendar and still looks just as good. It's was involved in a minor front end collision in 2001 which is fully documented in the service records. I've had the front end fully apart and have never seen any sort of indication that there was any damage leftover anywhere. It has never been smoked in and never been eaten or drank in, yes, I'm that anal. I have all the paperwork that I've collected over the years as well as a slew of spare parts (see list below).
I haven't spared any expense with the repair that I have done. I have replaced every single suspension component on this car and the car now handles literally like it's on rails. I have also replaced the entire cooling system and even on the hottest days it stays pegged at 90 degrees. The engine internals have remained completely stock with the addition of a few rare stock 2.9L pieces source from Europe. While I was replacing the cooling system I also went through the entire engine bay and re-wrapped all the electrical harnessing in new friction tape.
