hihello, i am selling she blueberry. first off, let me tell you the only reason i want to do this, is to restore my 1982 VW Rabitt Pickup. on to the car:

1997 Volkswagen GTI VR6
current mileage is 164,278 (chains were replaced at 130,000)

this car is Clean and Reliable. not only am i a neat freak, but i used to race motocross and got speed out of my system while i was young. i baby this car and drive like a grandma in any car. never left me stranded or broke down. if you were to ask my mechanic, this motor pulls hard.

i got this car when i was 16 in high school, never been drove in the winter since 2008, was garaged for the first two years i owned it. within those two years, i spent 6,000$ yes six thousand, replacing anywhere from my clutch and axles, to gti floor mats and a parcel shelf. i was only 16 years old and i worked 5 days a week, all my money went to my car. iv been dumping money into this car none stop since i got it. recently just replaced, all motor mounts, a control arm, sub-frame, rear axle beam bushings, belt tensioner, coolant resevoir, new euro smoked fog lights, amber turn sugnals.

this is a fully functioned, locking, windows, doors, e brake, cluster gauges, all lights working car. its a COMPLETE car.

i have done an oil change every 3,000 miles since iv owned it in 2008. new drivers and passenger side axles, have replaced my cone filter 3 times. replaced clutch 2,000 miles ago. ect the list goes on and on and on. i really never wanted to get rid of this thing but i need to just do it. im just too attached because of it being my very own first car. and i love it! but i have other priorities and my pickup seems like a good idea to restore.

interior id say is a 7 out of 10. the very common drivers mk3 leather seat is worn. i replaced the rear seats with jetta rears so it has the flip down arm rest in the back seats. glove box just got replaced, i also replaced my airbag and cover. has a pioneer cd deck with amp + sub hookup. the car has very very minor dents + scratches. you cant see any of them in pictures or in person unless you look very very close. its because of the DUMB CATS walking on it.

i did a full respray on this car when i was 17 a year after i had it, i stripped it down, took everything apart, found all drivers edition seats and dash complete interior swap, and sprayed it matte jazz blue vw color code, with flatening agent and a little white pearl, the black on my mirrors and stock wheels are brilliant black color code. it cost me 1100$ in materials and paint to spray this car. i fixed all dents and rust that a 17 year old would worry about. it came out awesome in my opinion. see it for yourself!

i am the 3rd owner of this car. it was originally black from factory and is now matte jazz blue. car will come with all mk3 parts i have accuired and own. did i mention this car has the best mk3 power steering ever!

will put thule roof racks, bike attachment, 2 snowboard attachments, all keys and tools for everything if the price is right.

i really wouldn't say that anything about this car is bad. this car is reliable.
i just replaced the valve cover gasket.

are the door jambs, engine bay and backside of the hood painted as well? Cooling system been replaced? (i.e. crackpipe, thermostat, water pump)? What does the car come with if someone didn't want the air ride or wheels/adapters?
