Jeezus. I feel fortunate to have a good in with my local parts yard. Anything worth less then $50 is usually free for me. I cannot believe that the theme park style entry fee hasn't put them out of business.

      Thanks for the info!

yea that aint gonna happen lol
when they pay anywhere from $50-$200 PER CAR (at least when i worked there) unless somebody called and said hey come get this free car outta my yard and yea i have the title.
they got a good thing going on there. On there board in the office they have quotas of like (we need 1600lbs of wire this month and not to mention some of the Catalytic converters are worth more then the car.they recycle everything radiators, catalytic converters, copper,They even resold the gas they drained from some of the cars (used to not sure if they do now) $5 for a full tank. that place makes to much money to lose there ass.

Fitz is no longer......... the land is either a water treatment plant or a Costco.
They've been gone like a good 15+ years.

They always had a decent inventory back in the day. I worked at the Jap yard (north yard)
      but prices were spendy.

Yup. Brian screwed himself on that one. He should have stayed put. Best wrecking yard ever.

Yes thanks! Good thing pick-n-pull is around, I managed to fix my friend's F150.

Granted, must be a common problem, out of about 10 Broncos and pickups I looked at, only one still had it's steering column.

Have to agree. When pic and pull came in and threatened to build a yard next to pull a part at the time. They were going to sell everything for half what pull a part was until they either went out of business or sold the lots to them.
Being that pull a part is a metal scrapping company first and foremost. Selling parts off the cars is just free and clear money to them.
That is why you will see most of the cars only lasting a week to possibly two before they crush it. They don't care about the people wanting the parts as much as they want to get it in and out as fast as possible.
