Thank you. I'll give them a call in the am and see if they can help me out. Went to a few places today. Pep boys said they aren't allowed to mount a tire if they can't inflate it. Go figure. Firestone told me they won't be held responsible if they damage the tires mounting them. Im at a loss. Two. companies that primarily deal in tires can't mount a low pro tire. I told them I don't need them to put air or stretch them just get em on the rim for me. How can they be so scared to do what they advertise as an expertise? That's mind boggling to me.

Wound up going to a place that says they could do it. They had the right equipment but they said 165/45/15 wouldn't fit the 8.5 rim. They tried and tried and couldn't get it. I think they were supposed to be doing it from the back of the rim as its a smaller air gap then the front but anyway I've seen 165/45's on 8.5" rims so I know it can be done. Got the wheels on the rims now but there's no air in them. Tried spraying carb cleaner in and exploding them on but they just flame up and don't explode. Idk what to do now. All I know is this sucks

Have you tried 212motoring on Hylan blvd.? I say you cross the bridge and go to AMS Autowerks in NJ. They know this type of stuff.

Called 212 they can't do it. Which is totally weird to me. Looking at all the rims in the window with 3-4" lips on em you'd think they had the skills but yet again nope. I really didn't think this would've been such a big deal or I might have gone a different route. My problem with NJ is I Simply do not have time. I've been working 7 days a week aside from fathers day I've worked for about 60 days in a row. I get out of work at 5 so no places are open by the time I can get to them. I'm trying the starter fluid one more time tonight. Thanks

No luck with the wheels. Feels kinda stupid to have to drive to a Vw show in a dodge. Tried wheels again tonight with ether and one almost sealed to the bead but fell off. Next five or six attempts were all failures.
