    Who with a service manual could tell me where the left rear dampening adjustment valve (N338) be located?
    Is it inside the rear air bag assembly on the Touareg or mounted externally elsewhere?

    It does, as it shows the Dampening Valves on the exterior of the shock body (shown on page 19, and others)...
    However, now is it a replacable part or does the whole shock body attached to it?
