The 510 will work and fit, but I don't think it will be a simple plug and play venture. You will have to buy everything to install the cam, GPS antenna and possibly antenna connectors. There are plenty of threads on this very topic on Club Touareg forums. You may want to go there and check it out if you have not already have done so.

Can anyone tell me the model number to swap my stock radio for a Nav and backup camera capable unit?
Would RNS-510 work?
Or is there another model for 2008 Touareg's??2012 Jetta Sportline 2.5
