FWIW I don't think that strut bar is factory. Doesn't really matter, and I'm not even sure about it, just thought I'd point out the possibility. That's a nice NA in a bitchin' color. Leave the top down and take corners hard
So I'm thinking about a repaint. Either white, silver, gunmetal or gold. Any opinion?
And, yes, the Triumph did help to inspire the roadster bug. Darn it.
So far it's been good on gas and I feel really confident that I can sell it for more than I paid for it in a few years if I want to get rid of it. After the detail I gave it today, I definitely added value to it.
Did a major interior detail on it.
Removed the seats, the center console and used a Little Green on the seats and carpets. Looks a million times better.
Even after tearing out carpets and poking around, there are no signs of rust or accident damage.
Noticed a very small rip in the top near the back window. Any advice for patching a soft top? Duct tape?
So far I've really enjoyed this little car. For a measly 120 HP, it's lively and fun and I find myself speeding a little too often. It's gotten polarizing reviews from family and friends, but I'm loving it.
I ordered a stubby antenna, new H3 bulbs for the headlamps and put in some LED tail light bulbs from Autozone-- anything I can do to make the car have more visibility on the road.
Next order of business is ripping out the horrible fog lights the PO installed and doing a full exterior detail on the car. I'll post pictures!

I used a Bissell Little Green machine. It's a carpet extractor. It works fairly well!
Nice! I love the Mariner blue, but I found a red one that I just couldn't pass up on (no rust, 79k on it, matching HT, all for $3950) and it's a joy to drive. My heater hose just blew yesterday and started pissing coolant. I'd advise doing timing belt/water pump/cooling system maintenance as soon as you can. Once the maintenance is done on my car, I'm going to start mods, and I can't wait!

Now, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP me find these center caps in the picture below. My RPF1 wheels came with no center caps and I still can't locate anything that fits!

Center caps? What if you just run to Home Depot, find some plugs that fit and spray them black or silver? Yeah, it's not totally kosher, but it'd be better.
Cleaned up the Miata and the Audi last weekend.
Unfortunately, my ownership experience is probably coming to an end. A few things have come up and it's probably getting a for sale sign in it this weekend.

A simple start would be using fiberglass to make a plug for the center, you could smooth it and paint it whatever you want, the biggest issue would be keeping it on the wheel (though at least it'd be light).

Beautiful blue M&M you've got there. I like the headlights, which I haven't liked on other Miata's before. Sorry tohear your ownership experience is truncated, you may find yourself wanting one again sometime. That happens to be the case for me, I miss my Twilight Blue '99- but I love the colors on the NAs.
