Was backing out of my driveway the other day putting the wheel hard over when I heard a loud "tink" . When I started driving down the road the steering wheel was like 10 degrees from where it should be. The car still tracks great, and I dont have any issues with the steering. I havent dug into this too deep yet. Thought I would run it by you guys for a good place to start.

Thanks for any leads on what might have happened.

I'd be putting the front end in the air and checking all the steering bits. The steering wheel shouldn't just turn itself 10 degrees for no reason.

Yikes, check your rack! Sounds like something internal in the rack and pinion skipped a tooth or something......don't see how else that's possible.
