So I bought my girlfriend some Ziza LED bulbs for the license plate. Well its giving me the bulb out light on the dash. I have these in my B6 A4 and I dont get the bulb out light. Is there something else I need to do with VAGCOM? They dont shut off, they are staying on. I just dont understand why I would get the bulb out light.

These are the bulbs I got.

I think the reason it is saying the light is out is because the LED needs so little energy to work that the computer thinks its not working.

These LED bulbs are suppose to prevent that light from coming on.

No one is running LED bulbs in the license plate?

I have the same bulbs and I get the license plate bulb out warning occasionally. It'll go out on it's own though.

I need to figure out a way to shut it off. If I even can. I hooked up the VAGCOM last night. I only seen one thing for the license plate lights. But it didnt help at all.

Defective resistor perhaps? For starters I'd call ECS and have them replace it.

No they work just fine in my B6 Audi A4. I tried another set of LED bulbs that are error free. They do the same. I talked to Chris via email. He told me that using a load resister should fix my problem.
