Did you try the Beach Brewing imperial stout yet? I drank that whole Boulevard Sixth Glass last night. That stuff is no joke, haha.
The Columbus Brewing bottled IPA is my favorite IPA thus far, wish I could have got a few more from you. That brewery certainly knows how to satisfy hop heads.![]()

thats me in the jersey, that bourbon barrel stout, maybe it was a porter, was really nice. Nothing like Goose Island's Bourbon County. Which is good, but way over the top.
#119
My roommate and I brought the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel! I'm the clown with my mouth open in the peach shirt haha. We're still enjoying some of the stuff we got, can't wait for another thing like this.

I don't remember the names of the couple who brought the home brew, but we saved our bottle of the red ale til today. Opened it after doing yard work all afternoon and it tastes great! Thanks again for sharing. Hopefully I'll see you guys at h2o.
#123
Glad you liked it. It has been one of our better batches of beer. We hope to do this again next year.

Its almost that time of year again
Who's in for this year's swap? I'll be making another google docs sign up sheet soon and posting it.
Do you think we should start a new thread or just continue with this one?
Also, I plan on brewing an official SoWo '13 Beer Swap Brew. Any recommendations on style?
#126
This will be my first year going but I am down for a beer trade. I will be coming form Chicago so let me know if anything in particular is of interest from the area.
#127
i'd be down to see a new thread with a fresh google docs thing (I think that was a great idea at H2O).
#128

I'm good friends with the brewer for Tired Hands in Ardmore, PA. They've been open for 10mons but have been getting lots of press, if you haven't heard of them... http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/28383
I'd be open to some growler swaps, but I'm a little selective. Some things I'd like to get my hands on: Funky Buddha from any of the guys coming up from FL, Hills Farmstead or Alchemy brewing out of VT. Generally into ipa's, saisons, sours, stouts, rarities, etc. Let me know what you got.

I plan on bringing growlers from a great local brewery who's only been open about a year.

Let me know if anything peaks your interestI'd be very interested in some growler swaps.

I'll be bringing some stuff from Legend and Hardywood from Richmond, Virginia.
Anyone coming from Maryland? Not exactly craft, but if you bring me a case of Natty Boh you win the cost of that case and my everlasting affection.
