Audi 80 exhaust manifold question

I have an Audi 80 exhaust manifold to put on my Fox, (thanks Doppelfaust) but I don't have the downpipe. Will the downpipe from an Audi 80 fit the Fox if I can find one?
My plan was to have one made, but that will be annoying, and probably cost the same or more compared to just buying one....

I seem to recall that someone on the forum some time ago was running with an audi down pipe
They had to notch the subframe a small amount for clearance.
They had no idea if it was a down pipe from an automatic or a manual car. Apparently they are slightly different shapes.

I think I am running one off an 80. It would have fit well in stock form... I remember the 2 into 1 design being 2 same-size primary pipes merging in to itself to one small tube. I couldn't imagine much of a power gain from that, and the fox's dp was bigger, so I cut the Audi dp at the merge and welded the fox dp to it. Works perfect.

Interesting...... I found an Audi 80 down pipe on she-bay, and it has this weird ass bend in it at the half way point... but it would match the 4-2 exit point on the Audi manifold perfectly.
So, it's tempting for that part alone.
