I have a Netgear wireless to ethernet adapter,

    http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-WNCE20...5117058&sr=8-1

that one specifically. what im wondering is, could i hook a hub or switch to that and connect more devices to it? i have it currently hooked to my sony bravia tv to give it internet access, but i was thinking of moving my slingbox from my office to the living room where my HD fios receiver is to get better channels.

otherwise, i would have to use something like this:

I don't see why not, but you'll be limited by that one wireless adapter's bandwidth capabilities. You already have a 4 port wireless switch/router you are using in your network, correct?

    Lol

Set it up for a never fail connection-get a cisco catalyst switch and a real router-run a t-1 to the router and a primary and redundant fiber connection to your main switch-then out from there to end devices

If you have say...15,000$ to pee pee on a network

I lol'd when I saw T1. You could do what you described with a $100, 2500 series Cisco from 1998 and a $50 catalyst from the same time period. $15k not needed.
