I did this bypass on mark4 and the difference is night and day. It felt like my car used to think about taking off and accelerating, where as now it actually does it. Only problem is it gave me a check engine light and that annoys the hell out of me. Anybody know how to make that go away? If not I guess I might as well do the whole evap system too.

Hey, I did this entire delete and now my car is running a little funny but there is no check engine light. It feels like the gas is cutting out. If I leave my foot on the gas to speed up, or even just going a consistent speed, the car will lose all power, almost like I took it out of gear, and then the power will jerk back in. The power goes away for just about a second and then returns but it keeps doing this. It's like the engine is kind of sputtering. Do you have any idea what could be going on?
