So here is my first build thread...first, the car....

92 Jetta GLI 16v 2.0 with 166k in really good shape, fully loaded with every option available, lightly modded and ran beautiful till about 2 weeks ago, I heard my lifters starting to knock....put it up on a lift and found this....

JB WELD ON THE SIDE OF MY BLOCK/HEAD!!!which lead to all my oil leaking out and being all over the underside of my car.....

sooo couple minutes later i bought this...

alittle dirty at the time but its a 20v 1.8t out of a passat wagon with a mk4 gti intake manifold and turbo setup.
passat was totalled after first owner flipped it with 300 miles on the motor! buddy of mine bought the car for parts and stripped it down.

    The donor car....

and after 2 1/2 hours of cleaning the motor and touching up some things, this is what i ended up with....

sprayed down, wire brushed & polished...all ready to go!

bagged it up to keep it clean while i wait for parts to come in...

    More pictures and updates soon!!!

Sorry but I must tell u something,I see a mistake because the tube must not be dull in the oil for the oil return must be on the block. When oil are being accumulated in the oil pipe and oil is not being able to return to the crankcase oil in the crankcase will erupt on these seals on turbine. Sorry on my bed english
