Looks like you need a 5" backing plate for the PC plus propper pads .. you doing just your car or many?

Hi everyone,
I have a bunch of random OTC detailing stuff.
I really want to step up and do this properly.
I am ready to invest some coin, but I don't want to spend $$$ unnecessarily
As I look at sites like detailersdomain it seems that there are hundreds of products that do virtually the same thing.
I want to spend money on the right stuff!
Also, is there anything I have that is total crap and should not be used?
Here is what I have:

My car(white), and a couple of dark ones for friends as well.
So...
5" backing plate
Polishing/buffing pads - Orange, Green, and Blue?
Should I get any of the following?:
Klasse AIO and Glaze - Have read good things about this combo
Menzerna PG, SI, SF, PL - I have seen these used in a few really nice details
Sonax Full Effect - It changes colours, so it must be good!!
Or should I just get the backing plate and the pads and call it a day?

Get the 5" backing plate .. 2 orange pads for correction and a white pad for final polish. Myself I don't use green or blue.
Get rid of the Mothers cleaner waxes and the 3 white pads in the picture. They aren't good for polishing .. only thing I ever used them for was to put a m/f cloth under to remove wax, and if you want decent polishes use optimum Compound and Optimum Polish.
