Ok, i've been seeing this car all over Vortex and copied the pic but couldn't remember what thread(s) it came out of. That was kinda my guess too but wasn't for sure. Thanks for the response though

Anyone also know whos guitly of these as well....

    Wheel Set 1

Yeah, i was thinking(at one point)of going w/Miro 111's but the Mk4/Mirro111 epidemic has hit my surrounding area too so now i'm thinking..............

I think i've asked about this set in the past as well but i forgot who again....

    Wheel Set 2

Yeah, i was kind of leaning towards a black set of Miro 111/s but it turns out the entire 'Black Mirro 111/Mk4 GTI Epidemic' has spread to my area as well so now i'm thinking.......

if you were looking at miros i highly doubt you have any idea how much any of the wheels you posted cost

the ones on the red car are work equips can be had for around $1500 for a used set in 4/10 condition and new are upwards of $1000 per wheel

the ones on the blue are tracer tech 1's about $1100 per wheel

the ones on the gray car are braid's about $1100 per wheel

No, I didn't but thats ok. I've already been looking at Rotiform's as well. I'm not too worried about price. I have A LOT of other stuff to do long before I worry about wheels and what not. I just like to check out different sets that I see as I come across them. I'm sure whatever wheels I finally decide on, they'll most likely be one of the last things I end up adding anyways.

I don't mind the Miros, I just didn't want a set that everyone else was rolling on either. I've already accepted the fact that my car isn't exactly going to be an 'Overnight Project' either....

    Thanks again for the response

i didnt mean it as a way to say omg your retarded

usually people post up i want these and think they only cost like $1200 when in reality thats how much one wheel costs

usually when someone says they are looking at miros that is the budget so thats how i took it

there are lots of websites out there with lots of really good wheels be it used or new it took me a long time to find the wheels i wanted in the specs i wanted and along the way i made a few blunders wheel wise

I know dude, its all good

Eventually I'll pick a set out - thats the other half of the problem too.... I almost HATE looking for wheels for my GTI cause I'm so f**kin' picky! I'm kinda like the chick who has to pick out an outfit to wear to the wedding she just got invited to, at the last minute. When it comes to wheels, I'm willing to spend a lot to get what I want the 1st time as long as they fit the look I'm searching for - i'm not settleling for 'Good Enough!'...screw that

^ Nothing wrong with that either. As I'm sure you've heard the age-old adage "wheels can either make or break your car," then it's definitely worth your time and effort to take your time and find a set that suits you and the look you're trying to achieve.
