    Quick question about gun registration from one state to another.

    whats the best way to "re-reg" with the new state of residence.

    You want a CCW? As far as I know, Maine doesn't require gun registration except upon purchase. If you want a CCW, it'll be easier if you already have one in Massholia. You can google the same question.

    thanks for the info..

    So it seems from looking at that website I need not do anything to keep in my residence the firearm I already lawfully own.. hmm, seems to easy but thats why I like Maine.

    I do have a ccw in MA but not sure if I want that transferred over.

    Whoa... Totally read that backwards. Thought you were moving to MA from ME!

    Good luck in Maine! It's beautiful up there. My wife and I really enjoy driving through that part of the country.
