i removed all of it... rougher idle when cold, but as soon as it warms up I have no issues.

just make sure you block off/re-route any unused vacuum lines etc.
I just installed a catch can so I have a more functional PVC system instead of the filter venting to air (after 4 mos or so the filter was dripping oil and not really ideal) Ill try to get pictures of my engine bay with that in soon too.

I eliminated them altogether
But then, none of my vacuum system is stock.

The sensor with the two hoses going into (or three for AC-cars) just below the vin plate on the firewall?
That is a solenoid valve that's supposed to bump up the idle - one (and only one in non-ac cars) opens when idle is below 850rpm I believe. The other opens when the AC is on.
Little effect if removed - plug the lines that would go into it or rer-route them if you need them for something![]()

I removed all that stuff a long time ago including the valves mounted to the firewall. To combat the rough idle when cold I hooked up a mk2 isv and haven't had any problems. I think I routed the evap hose (the one that goes back to the tank) to the throttle body... Don't quote me on that though, its been a while since I did it.
