Guy was really quick pulling that off in the right moment kind of a risky maneuver by both of them making the exit.

Cop shouldn't have been chasing, imo. I don't support police chases though.

It doesn't take a built motor or even great driver to run away from a cop when you can swerve off an exit ramp at highway speed, and the cop has to wait five seconds before taking the ramp and from a much lower speed.

The driver obviously knew the area- and that the blind corners off that ramp would help obscure his escape.

I think that's possible. There was three places the cop could have gone after the toll booth: back on the freeway, the exit and stay to the left, or exit and stay to the right. Probably just picked the wrong one but the camera is too blurry to really know if he could see him.

Nope. Wherever he went, its far from the cop. It's not like the cop was watching through the camera, he was probably looking around like a mad man.

Great video. Had to be embarrassing for the cop.

    wow, that's too cool.

He definitely got off and went through the toll. You can see him pulling away. There is another car by the road but it's not him.

I think that was a lot of luck. The semi truck and gold Grand Marquis gave the perfect screen for that guy to swerve off and get off the main highway.

After that, who knows. The car parked on the right side of the road MAY have been him, but seems unlikely that the cop didn't spot him.

Watch it again and you'll see he kept left and went straight through the toll, same path the cop car took. Besides he would have seen him swerve and park right.

I've watched it a few times but really can't make much out. I agree though that the car parked on the side of the road is more than likely not him.

Edit- Or can someone from the mkiv forum just fess up to it?

Fabulous video (aside from the quality). I'd say he got back on the freeway and was obscured by the other vehicles by the time the cop went through the toll booth; so the cop chose the wrong route.

Such a good driver, he knew exactly the Vic was coming after him, and took a gamble to outrun the Vic.

That was some lucky driving and a very very very quick car.

On a serious note, holy **** that's a hell of a driver and it's quick. Further proof that the 1.8T NEVAR loses!
