Thread: LED's everywhere

  1. 04-23-2012 06:53 PM #1
So decided to swap out my ****ty oem bulbs for LED's ordered my kit form krautoparts.com...before the hate Emil did not ask me to do a write up or review, just figured id do one so other people know what to expect when ordering this kit. The difficulty on this was very easy, if you cant do this idk why you even own a b5 s4 but regardless here are the steps i took. I ordered the white ones, which have a hint of blue and this is how it went....

This is what came in the mail:

all the leds plus the reverse bulbs i ordered, and instructions as to which one goes where.

i started from the trunk, mostly because i was cleaning the car out and figured why not

took off the plastic piece and went to swap out the reverse lights

    reverse is that middle one:

repeat on the other side, plastic piece back on

trunk light #1 just peel back the cover and there it is

pop in the new led (make sure you have the right side connected first) and this is the result

for the rest check out the full article

That's pretty neat looking. I think i'm going to order a kit myself! Were there any lights you thought looked better with the regular bulbs for any reason?

Where did you buy that? how much time did you have into wrapping it after finishing bodywork?

I did the same a few year back for the interior.... Looks pretty nice but wished I had gone with the warm white as it can be a little too bright at times....
