Thread: FS: 2001.5 silver S4, 6sp 145K miles, Chesapeake, Va

Time to let my B5 S4 go. The Mrs just got a Q5 and the Expedition is for hauling the kiddos to and from lax practice so this baby must go.

4 kids bugging me about who's paying for college and the S4 loses out, and... my old lady is a little bit on my case to sell this. I take it to DC once or twice a month on business, other than that it sits in the driveway.

Man I hate to see this thing go, but the longer this baby is here the less of a case I have for getting an S6 in a couple years.

I've had the car for nearly 50K miles, it's been virtually flawless. I have every receipt for the last 2 years. Major work that has been done includes

Jun 10 (105K) - timing belt, water pump, thermostat
Jun 10 (105K) - 3M CS Non Metallized window tint
Aug 08 (108K) - new rotors and Hawk pads
Dec 10 (116K) - rear differential seal and check valve
Mar 11 (120K) - valve cover and cam adjuster / set timing
Jul 11 (127K) - auxiliary water pump and coolant tank
Nov 11 (135K) - front right rear lower control arm
Feb 12 - (141K) new tires Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tires
Aug 12- (148K) front bumper replaced and painted to match, hit a raccoon on the way to DC.
Oct 12 - (150K) passenger side valve cover gasket and cam adjuster gaskets
Oct 12 - (150K) inner and outer CV boots
    Oct 12 - (150K) output stage control module (4,5,6)

    The good:
    - AVH-P3200 DVD Pioneer SAT/CD/Video with iPod interface
    - Car runs super well, stereo sounds awesome.
    - Eibach shocks and Koni sport springs.
    - Mostly freeway miles and it'll return 25-26 mpg at 75mph.
    - Paint is in super shape, see pictures.

    The bad:
    - light weathering on the leather from water on the passenger seat.
    - Normal bug dings in the hood, front bumper is brand new.

She runs amazingly well and handles like you would expect one of these to handle. The sport suspension obviously tightens it up some.

I really do love this car and hate to see it go.

$6500 OBO. I live in Chesapeake, Va but work out of Northern Virginia once a week or so and will deliver to NoVa or Md.

    pics available upon request.
