I've learned that 9 times out of 10 when multiple people(usually girls) comment on a picture and call someone beautiful, chances are they're not

    What have you learned?

  2. 04-23-2012 10:31 PM #2
I've learned NOT to have a facebook or twitter acct.
Apparently one of 'em can get you fired if your boss looks at it, the other can get your a$$ kicked for ya'.

I'll just stick to e-thugin' right here thank you very much.

That the majority of my friend are idiots and couldn't write something with proper grammar if their lives depended on it.

That some people are unable to express feelings in their own words, so they find the most boring and vague set of lyrics from some random no-name artist.

Every time I see it I think of the condescending Willy Wonka meme.

Well if you don't act like an adult, you don't have to take on the responsibilities of an adult. Right guys? Guys?

One thing I've learned is that all of my musician stoner friends, many who I've known for 15 or so years, all of the sudden are into politics. Let me clarify - they now get on their virtual soap box and preach about Ron Paul. Frankly, I'm a little sick of it.

I've also learned that it is a lot harder to bail out of a social event by using a possibly less than totally truthful excuse and not get caught. "Note to self, bailed out of happy hour birthday thing for obnoxious chick, do not post during this time. Do not mention how funny SpaceBalls is right now. Do not post a picture of my cat sleeping in a pretzel like position" (yeah I'm that guy).

    I thought this was Facebook?

I mean, I know what half of OT looks like, what they eat, their political ideals, what cool **** they saw today, what they rant about, what they like, and where they are.

The only thing missing is nobody sends me Farmville requests.

I'd say that OT gives us all a better understanding of one another's bowel habits than Facebook does.

I get to see what all my old acquaintances are doing and i get to stay connected! It's so much fun to check in on other people's lives and share my own personal experiences through video or photos! Or maybe even an occasional witty status update! Without Facebook, i would have never maintained contact with my girlfriend! I think it's AMAZING, that i can be so close with people that would otherwise be so distant. Facebook entertains me while i'm in the bathroom, or waiting for my lunch. Facebook reminds me of my mother's birthday. It provides me with that oh so precious "I know that chick" fap material. I ****ing love Facebook.

    Seriously.

Glad my friends have some dumb hot ladies as friends.
Current Car: 99' Subaru Impreza Outback Sport
Project Car: 84' Chevy Monte Carlo
Past Cars: 84' Buick Regal, 87' Olds' Cutlass Supreme Brougham, 87' Monte Carlo SS, 91' Toyota Corolla

    1) People are dumb enough to not turn off GPS functions on their phones when taking pictures...and are also dumb enough to post where they're logging into facebook from.

    2) Most people don't turn on all of the facebook security measures (which are scant to begin with) and post fantastic information (email address, phone numbers etc.) which are publicly viewable.

    3) I'd say 20% of my friends are truly motivated, driven individuals...the rest are sadly like me.

    4) People have too many babies...think too much of them...and post far too much about them.

    5) Being able to unsubscribe and block apps is a Godsend.

    6) The vast majority of females over the age of 25 - never progressed mentally past 16.

^The above is why I have 50 or so people on my facebook...and routinely go through purges. Of those 50, I'm unsubscribed from about 35.

I'm just fascinated by what people actually post. Like people going through divorce/breakup/argument with an SO who air out all kinds of things that should only be their business. I've found those people usually have the most friends and use them like a crutch/support group. I unsubscribe from these people.

That and the guy who's my age ~28 who's trying to collect disability, has 2 kids, and smokes weed/watches movies/plays video games EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And when people call him out, he calls them haters.

I've also found a direct correlation between the number of political posts/links to the Daily Show to the probability of the person actually having a real job/being a property owner/married. All these people who've never paid any taxes because mom and dad are still paying for their school at 30, or apartment, or are living at home, post all day about how stupid the GOP is, or link to KONY, or Trayvon, or whatever.

Instead of seeking therapy or going to a friend to talk, people like to display their emotional disorders by saying stupid things like, "I'm deleting all you fake people from my facebook. Only time for my peeps that keep it real!"

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.

    1. I have learned that the people i knew in Highschool, but didnt talk to, are idiots. This wasnt really learned, but more confirmed through Facebook.

    2. when people find Jesus in the middle of their lives, and you reconnect with them and say the word fu*k, they get very offended.

    3. women that complain and even worse to have as friends on Facebook than they are probably being married to.

    4. Everything is dramatic. Even if they forgot to cut the lawn that day.
