Here's everything you could ask for. Not all the rides are 5" so read the literature to be sure you open the right one

i got my 5inch narrowed beam being made now from airkewld. and i got the whole kit with spindles and i wanna use stock smoothies on my 64. wanna be as low as i can. so hopefully more towards the black one

The height difference has nothing to do with the beam, its just the red one is not lowered or adjusted as much as the black one.
If your getting a 5" beam adjustable with drop spindles with stock smoothies your will look just like the black one if you adjust the beam all the way down.
Down side to going that low is your wheels will hit the head light buckets depending on tire choice.
165/45 not hit
135 will hit and rub.
PS that black one gives my bonner and woody..

oh sheet, i got 135s for the front. so i guess ima have to rubber hammer the headlight buckets in...

Yes you can do that. Make sure if you do you take the lights out first cause you will have to modify the prongs and plug also.
You will have to remove the black plastic pug that the wires are in so all the wires are now separate. Then carefully bend the prungs on the back of the light so they lay flat out. It will give you clearance to hammer the back of the light buckets.

rub issues on 165s with 3 lower clicks whats the deal with inner and outer clicks. 3 outer clicks ok?
#15
I never rubbed with 3 clicks and 165's
The inner splines on the torsion bar are half the amount as the splines on the outer the bar. You can do half clicks "if you will" by rotating the torsion bar itself 1 click. Rotating the torsion bar is how you get the inner click.
2 outer spline click and 1 inner click is the best set up IMO..
