    2003 GTI 20th AE
    04-24-2012 01:55 AM #1
    Hi everyone,

I just bought a 2003 GTI 20th AE about 5 hours ago, but visited this site a few times before as a part of my research before buying. Anyways, just thought I'd introduce myself to this forum.

    Specs:
    -5'8"
    -male
    -152 lbs.
    -27
    -Korean w/Irish/Mexican/Chinese/Indian tendencies

    Car Specs:
    -82k miles
    -maintenance/recalls up-to-date (including t-belt/water pump)
-ALL STOCK (chick owned it before me)
    -blue

As of right now, there are no plans to modify...yet. I plan on giving it a full detail this weekend along with a set of new tires (current ones pretty worn). Just out of curiosity, anyone have any experience with the Kumho Ecsta 4x? I saw them on Tire Rack and they're pretty cheap ($116 per) compared to other tires. They even got slightly better ratings than tires in the same category (ultra high-performance, all-season) that are way more 'spensive.

I'll try to remember to take some pics this weekend after I give my GTI Blue Balls a good cleaning.

I paid $6900. The spoiler's clearcoat is peeling and the front bumper was re-painted and was done horribly (some chipping and peeling). I'm thinking about going vinyl for the spoiler instead of having it repainted. My friend can get the materials pretty cheap so just thinking of trying it out.

Then get off vortex and don't come back. Seriously. We are going to help empty your wallet.

Spend a little more money and get the Conti ExtremeContact DWS. They are a far superior tire.

Ahhh too late fellas. Already got the Kumhos. Plus, they are going to give me a $50 rebate.

And yes, I already registered (it was already done by the previous owner, just transferred names).
