    What Oil Do You Run In Vegas Summer?

    I have a new VW owner with a '03 24v VR...Needs to know what oil he should use during the intense heat we live in out in Vegas...Any help would be great

    Mobile 1 O-40 all year round.

    I usually run a 0w or 5w..When I had my Jetta and thats what I used in my ex's GTI all year round out in this place...But I was talking to my co-worker who is a Ricer and he said that he runs like a 20w since its thicker...But he also doesn't run fully synthetic in his little v-Crap engine

    Any Audi/VW 502 approved oil. The most common is Castrol Synthetic 5w40 and Mobil 1 Synthetic 0w40.

    This is only available in Alabama. Fantastic blend, by only joining related molecules it keeps the final product much purer. Sadly everyone else has to make due with more mucked up blend of Mobil1.
