Ok well i just replaced my speedo with the new kph one. but now the clock doesn't work and blinker indicator is on and alt light on. Anyone have any ideas what I did? maybe plugged something in wrong. Oh and I broke the hazard switch. Would that cause that?

did you swap out the L shaped green circuit board from the back of the old speedo?

as long as you plug the two main plugs and the speedo - everything should work again.
as for the hazard - you sure you are plugging it back into the correct spot? does your rear defrost work now?

???? My new speedo didnt have any circut baord. All i did was lift the circut board up and pull out the old speedo and put the new one in. Everything went back together the same way it came apart. Speedo, odo, trip, these things all work. And yes i made sure everything was plugged in right they are color coded. My hazard switch is not back in though. The plastic part broke coming out. The other part is still pluggd in though.

that's the thing. the NEW speedo doesn't have the green board - you need to pull it from the old speedo and swap it.
I would make sure those wires/plugs are not twisted - but they are impossible to be pins off - they are guided in and can only really snap in one way...

Do you mean the circut board on the inside of the gauge? Like right behind the face?

yup - it is held on by 3-4 clips and the pins that plug into the flexible circuit board - I don't have a picture handy - but can post one later...

Yes, you'll have turn signal issues with a broken hazard switch.
I really suck at smog.

Hazard could affect those things... replace the bad switch and troubleshoot from there.

Ordered the switch. I was just seeing if maybe there was something else obvious. Would that cause the gauges to not work??

If the gauges don't work, i.e. gas gauge and temp gauge....it's probably a bad voltage regulator or it didn't get re-installed properly. The turn signal LED is on because of the bad hazard switch
There is likely nothing really "wrong" with your cluster

Yes definitely the voltage regulator then. It's that little 3 prong thing screwed to the back of the speedo. I've got some spares...

obtain one and plug/screw it in.
it's probably a good idea to have a stockpile of those things...
