    hey everybody
I'm working on a motor, its an obd1 aba and ill be throwing on a 16v head. I'm most likely gonna use the bbm kit for the build because it seems like it'll be easier.
but my main question is if I buy a shell of a mk3, should it be an obd1 car? or can I pick up an obd2 car then change all the wiring components after to obd1?
    help appreciated

The car does not matter as long as you have the harness and components you are going to run the you should have no issues. Pending the car had no issues when you buy it.

and as you know the OBD1 components are not the same sas OBD2

Some of the problems i have ran into in the past is running a auto harness and 5 sp car. It didn't work. but i didn't do my homework. now i now better. It only takes once to figure out.

    Good luck with the build
