FS -- 1988 Fox 2dr -- Low Miles (73k)

Putting up for sale my super-clean '88 Fox w/ only 73,000 original miles. Factory A/C, 5-speed manual (upgraded from original 4spd), flawless interior. I purchased it from the original owner in 2009 at 43k with records (including all oil changes) going back to purchase.

Maintenance:
Meticulously cared for with substantial preventative maintenance performed by factory certified VW techs, and using only high quality German parts. Work done in the last two years includes the following:

---Complete new Exhaust system (center & rear mufflers) and pipes.
---4 New Bridgestone Weatherforce all season radials (65k warranty)
---New front Brake Pads and Rotors
---New Air Filter, O2 (oxygen) Sensor, & Fuel Filter
---Tune Up w/ New Bosch Plugs, New Wires, Distributor Cap, Rotor, & Fuel Injector Seals
---New Hepu Water Pump, complete system flush, new Pentosin (pink) lifetime anti-freeze, 6 piece radiator/heater hose kit, Temp Sender for the fuel injection system, and Thermostat
---New Timing Belt, tensioner, cam seal and other oil related seals & other belts
---Replace CLUTCH (clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearings)
--- Install used 5 spd Manual Trans (@ approx 60k miles), new Synthetic gear oil for the Trans, 2 output seals, and new shifter bushings
---Car has fresh Synthetic oil in it and ready for many years of low cost driving.

Yeah I love Foxes as well but that is a bit high for a coupe. A wagon might get that much though? Good luck with the sale!

lol at this because anyone who knows VW Fox knows they were never even available in Automatic (I had 2 VW Foxes myself.. an 87 and a 93)
