Thread: High Idle

  1. 04-24-2012 03:11 PM #1
Hey my sisters beetle idles around 1800 rpm and if I just blip the throttle to like 2500 rpm it comes back down to 1000 then climbs back up to around 1800rpm. The coolant temp sensor has been changed already. It is throwing a code but my brother scanned it and thinks it might be mass air sensor. O2 sensors maybe? Thanks, throw out your ideas. Sorry car is a 2001 2.0 beetle, 5spd. Thanks!
