Pretty sure one of the two is either from a Passat or regular CIS-e.
Looks good. How does it work?

What is this "good shop" you speak of?

    DIY or GTFO

OP: Glad you got this sorted, would have been a waste to see you scrap this one... MKIIs are getting rarer by the day.

    Oh, suck it :-p

I know of *one* good shop around here, and if I was looking to toss a vehicle over something that'd been racking my brain I'd think of taking it there. It hasn't happened yet, but as a last ditch effort, I'd consider it.

Consider yourself fortunate to know of a shop that you can trust with your VW...

Which is why I own 2 mk2 and I do not think I could ever remove them from my life.
    I'm honestly selling my mk3 when I finish my mk2 vr6 conversion.

Mine would NEVER hesitate or anything. Just the idle sucked along with the fuel mileage. It has been absolutely fine since I swapped the harness. The mileage went down very slightly since I changed the fuel distributor but still around 30-35 on average.

Today was the last day I have to drive it daily. Tomorrow I get a new work truck since, after over a damn month, I'm finally working full time at my new job.
