    Can anyone lead me to a touchscreen head-unit for a 2004 r32.

    Thanks.

I just installed a Kenwood Excelon DDX7015 in my R32. I bought it from the classifieds here a while ago. It's a little old, but it has changer controls so it works with my PhatBox (after I re-flashed the PhatBox to Kenwood firmware).

Pretty much any double din screen should work. If you buy used just make sure it comes with a mounting cage. If it doesn't check ebay for a replacement before buying.

I have a Kenwood 6980 w/ NAVITGATION, about a week old for $600 shipped or a Pioneer AVH-P3300BT practically brand new for $310 shipped.

What size does it need to be for the mk4 r32? 6.5 or 7 inch screen?

Screen size doesn't matter, its radio chassis size (that is double-din).

The Kenwood comes with a cage to mount it, the Pioneer needs the ADT-VA133 to mount it or a double-din dash kit from Metra.

Wait, are you talking about just fitting a touch screen monitor in there, not a screen that's part of a head unit?

If you are talking about fitting a HEAD UNIT (a RADIO) then NO the size of the screen means jack **** as the radio cavity is a DOUBLE DIN.

If, however, you are referencing just a touch screen MONITOR for a CAR PC then 1. your remark about a 15" screen would still make no sense, and 2. get a tape measure, and 3. it depends on the MONITOR as if there is a large surround around the MONITOR then it may not fit.
