Does anyone have a proper cleaning procedure for the throttle body on the 2.0L AEG engines?

    There's a DIY on it, http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...eaned!-Finally!

When I cleaned mine I used carb cleaner and a foam painting brush to remove all the gunk.

    1) Remove it

    2) Clean it thoroughly with carburetor cleaner and an old toothbrush

    3) Re-install it

    4) Perform TBA with VCDS
