    anyone done it??

    we have a 16v Cabby project going, and just got ahold of an alternator fro an 8V Cabby....

    will this work?...

    we plan on deleting the A/C compressor anyway so that solves that issue...

    advise on brackets...?

    Honestly I wouldn't even put the effort into doing this. I would just swap in an ABA ALT with bracket and crank pulley and VR6 WP pulley and run with it. Such a cleaner setup and less headache IMO
