Replaced CCM but still having issues with power windows.

Just replaced the Comfort Control module on a 1998 Beetle same part number CCM.

This was to resolve the power windows from only working when the car first starts.

Basically in the morning the windows will go down and stop on the way down even if i am holding the button. Then i release the button and have them go down some more. After a couple seconds they will stop and the car will have to sit with the power off for them to go back up but its the same thing. They will go up, stop then i have to release and hit the button again to make them go up, rinse and repeat until they are all the way up. Then once again, they wont operate unless the car is off for a couple minutes.

Power mirrors, locks, gas door release all work, trunk will not unlock, on the cluster the trunk light is dim and sometimes flickers..Lovely..


What could this be? Also Fuse 14 is blown i have more fuses coming in the mail this week via amazon prime. It was too late to run out and get more fuses tonight.


Does this sound familiar to anyone? What could it be.

Also passenger door intermittently looses power also power flickers on and off time to time
