Are BBS lips/barrels forged?

Just a quick question. I ran a search on google and vortex but all i get are for sale threads where people mention their RS' are forged.

Are OEM BBS rs/ 34 hole lips and barrels forged?

If I'm not mistaken, I think that they are forged via flow-forming. I'm sure someone can come in and chime in on your question as well

thanks for your input, i just looked up "flow-forming" and came across BBS' website. in their info, they state that flow-forming is done on cast material. Although they are talking about the present, does anybody know about older models like the RS?

"Flow Forming" is a procedure that uses 3 hydraulic rollers and tremendous pressure to "Form" the inner rim area. Through this process, 3 hydraulic rollers force the cast material to conform to the profile of the massive steel tooling. During the process, the full width of the rim is created.
