I was thinking the same thing about the engines. The new consoles are relly close to being announced though so we'll have what BO2 then whatever COD comes after that before a new engine comes out....hopefully lol! I honestly don't care all that much, I know alot of people want a new engine and swear it still looks like it did on COD 4 but it doesn't. You gotta be playing on a bad tv not to see the difference with each game. Lack of environment change has to play a huge part in why people think it looks the same. Alot of the random objects and cars were used in past COD games so it makes it look too similar. Maybe with this more futuristic attempt they'll be able to showcase the polish job better. These people should just ask EA if they can use the CryEngine 3. I like that engine wayyy better than that Frostbite engine. Crysis 3 is going to be a beautiful looking game you can see it on the trailers.

Zombies are only fun to me up untill about round 15. After that it gets boring just killing hoard after hoard. Too much of the same.

I always liked the Treyarch made games better than IW's versions. Black Ops and World at War were my favorite COD games, MW, mw2 and mw3...eh, not so much. I hate that the games are console ports to PC though. So much better on a pc

Oh and no big surprise but xbox is getting DLC first again. I just hope that they fix thier bull**** Elite cause making Elite part of hte DLC just delayed it for everyone more than usual.

lol! So what are your thoughts from what they showed us so far? I like it, as far as the campaign it doesn't look like typical COD to me. I know alot of the comments on the video people are crying about how it's the same **** different game and that the graphics suck and a whole lot of other crap. I played old Atari games when I was little so i'm not 15 and spoiled on just PS2/3 and xbox graphics. I see this and i'm happy with it cause I've seen wayyy worse. Yea a better engine would be awesome but I wont let that make me not wanna get it. BF3 has its awesome little engine but I have more fun playing BFBC than that lol! As far as it being the same thing well it's a shooter, most of them are working with the same thing. They either are running a perk system and it's all the same but with different names or they are not using a perk system and it feels naked. I'm anxious to play this. I'm even more anxious to see multiplayer cause that's what I really buy these games for. Zombies will be neat to but it's not what I get these Treyarch games for.

I went back and did MW2 after quite some time and just recently played through MW3. I find them a nice distraction from the online component when I get tired of it and need a break.

It's no different than Sony with EA and Battlefield 3, they get DLC content first before PC and 360(<---although this seems more like a reaction to Activisions/CoD move).

Blops 2 seems to add branching paths (at least from what the various E3 vids have shown). I wonder about the weapons in the campaign making it into the multiplayer....do we have to worry about being sniped through concrete walls now?

They had been saying there'd be a streak in that game that gives you the ability to see through walls like that for a period of time. I just REALL REALLY don't want that little flying thing to be a 3 kill streak like RCXD was cause people would stack those annoying things and let out too many one after another and I went from thinking RCXD was cool to loathing it.

That's why shooting at them- blowing them up- and killing the damn RCXD user made me happy.

Just watched the Demo they did at E3 today, the game is looking good. I know it's the same engine but they said they over hauled it again and from the video shown today I can see the difference. Having the actual game is just gonna look even better. I'm still itching for some multiplayer video though >=]

With COD perks that should NOT be in the game are more important lol!! They seriously better not put second chance as a perk again like they did in the first black ops. Also I wish for once they would completely go without death streaks. BO was the most camp friendly game ever, ghost worked better for hiding than cold blooded or assassin do. Have you guys ever read the brand name on the camera spike and motion sensor on black ops? They're labeled with the brand Camp Tech. haha! I just want to be able to run my perk load out like I do in black ops. Scavanger pro, Sleight of hand pro and Marathon pro. I hate how Infinity ward does it. I want to use sleight of hand but I need to give up scavanger for that and I don't like doing that. I also don't understand what genius at IW thought taking marathon pro out was a good idea. So hopefully BO2 will not follow that cause it sucks to run 4 steps and slow down.

I saw a YT video this weekend that said leaked MP info states you will be able to unlock guns/perks/equipment by accruing points/tokens. You don't get them by ranking up a level.

agreed. the lag compensation in MW3 is beyond infuriating. almost never play it anymore. I'm OK with the futuristic theme. Thanks for the vid

Just curious what you guys think about the loadout with 20 slots available per class, but only being able to use 10 of them? Each slot is one point. Primaries have 3 available add ons, secondaries have 2 available add ons, proficiencies count as a point, perks with the pro version count as 2 points, and then adding your lethals would count with the ability to add an additional for an extra point. Possibilities are endless.

Liked seeing "Squad TDM". 3v3 with up to 3 other teams on the map with you. Kinda like Faceoff, but more opponents.

What's the dlc schedule like? Xbox first then maybe they get around to pc ps3?
