I am going through and replacing all the rubber lines on my car, as well as injector seals, etc etc, blah blah...The only hoses/lines I am not replacing are the steel ones under the car and the steel braided hoses underhood for the injectors, WUR, coldstart valve and fuel filter feed.

My question is how long do these steel braided hoses really last? Mine don't leak, and I know where I can buy new ones, and I probably will replace them all eventually...But I still wonder what the life expectancy of these things are...?

Interesting. I have been hearing a general 10 years or so. These lines on the cars must be made real well since I don't hear about a ton of them leaking after 25 years or so.

I guess I will replace them sometime. For now I'll get it running with these ones.
