Um, its miller light. Its for drinking, not tasting...

Miller has come up with another lame marketing tactic using their packaging.

I don't see any actual benefits or differences from punching a hole in the top of an open can. Maybe I'm missing something? The literature states: “In our testing, consumers told us they prefer the Punch Top Can three-to-one over the standard beer can because it’s more like drinking from a pilsner glass."
Really? Is it that difficult to pour into a glass? Half the reason for using the glass is to be able to use your sense of smell to actually taste the beer. I don't see a key hole punch in a can making a difference for a beer that does't offer much in the way of aroma. Anyhow, if this is your cup of tea, enjoy.![]()

Is the average BMC drinker really concerned about a smooth pour?
I doubt it.

Its for frat guys and your drunk uncle to "shotgun" at the tailgate party. Miller just cant say that in the ads because it promotes alchohol abuse![]()

They used to make them with two holes until too many people swallowed the round bits.

Easier to ash smokes and spit dip into empties--no more wrecking your thumbs
Edit - just now watched the video. WTF? Not even remotely effective for shotgunning.

They stopped selling Miller Lite over here a few years ago. No one bought the stuff, they advertised it as Miller Pilsner and it was a big flop. Pretty sure you can find it at certain places... but you'd have to really look. A shame, I miss Miller![]()

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that calls it a church key.

What you get isn't always what you see.

When we tailgate, we like to shotgun a couple beers.
This just means the lot-cops can't get mad at us for poking holes in cans with a knife. heheh
All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.
