June 30th sounds good weren't mind hearing a few Astons have sex on track.. I was there that last meet.. The dudes I rolled with would prob be down again. One already chimed in.. Let's make this happen, the local guys are instrumental, knowing the area better than most.. I'd be up for a scouting run up there if its necessary.

In other words IM IN. let me know when and where. but if we do do a vote i say NH.
Side not: A buddy of mine and i are puttting togeather a "Cannonball" type rally at the end of the summer with a cash Prize. We were just going to do it with a couple buddies but this weekend we got to thinking about trying to make it a bigger thing with alot more people and a Bigger prize Thinking 1000$ for first place and a 125$ish buy in. It would gould go from Boston-> montreal->detroit->NYC->boston. About 1600 miles 4 days. If anybody is interested in that let me know. Sounds nuts but its a good drive. I did it years ago for a buddies wedding.

We should try to get some tristate area Golf Rs together at Bear Mtn for the first official Golf R GTG later this Summer, once more cars are delivered.
I'd like to see scenes like these, only with Golf Rs:

I would also be down for a Kanc, Hurricane mt. road, Mt. Washington cruise. I did bear mountain 2 years ago and there was some nice scenery and decent twists but the road conditions were pretty bad and traffic was a pain IMO.
and if not you should.
Sounds like someone has been reading this...
Have not been reading that but i guess i will now.
My budies and i do a road trip every year. Last year was to Big Sky MT. This year i just sold my WRX and bouight the R32 and he just picked up a WRX and my other buddy just gort a TDI touareg so we want to to put some miles on them. The highways above the greatlakes are autobahn-ish! we have parties lined up in detroit and NYC at friends Bars/restaurants which at least the food should be coverd by the buy in. Should be a blast but we need mor cars. so far only 4 and the 4th is a MAYBE depending if i can get more people and bigger cash prize. we will see...

Please read info regarding route. We are open to suggestions however Cspence has put a lot of thought into the route guide.. we have 2months to really hone this trip. I do like the pitstop at limerock as well as the Kent falls stop...I really want to incorporate some back road twisties if possible! We need some people in the northwest corner to chime in and give us some secrets as far as country roads go. We are 9 deep...let's shoot for 30 cars

looking at the map of CT. Does anyone have any input on SR37. It looks scenic. I was wondering if maybe we could meet at the intersection of rt.7 and SR37,,,,then head north on 37...It looks like SR37 is scenic, twisty and goes by many lakes and bodies of water. It also intersects with Rt. 7 later on just north of New milford. This may also accommodate those coming from New Jersey, new york and southwest Ct. Cspence you can just stay on I84 west and meet up with us in Danbury at the rt.7 and SR37 intersection. This would be a great way to kick off the cruz. Anyway we can also incorporate Bulls Bridge and Cornwall bridge as these are great spots for pics and only 2 of the remaining 3 covered bridges in CT. My .02,,,,thoughts???
