How good of a mig welder are you?

I shall not brag but if it's preppped right and not rusted out I weld pretty good on a Mig . Now a stick is another storry . My Migs always held . And I look for that hot red glow and good penatration . My welder is set up for up to 5/16" this steel . I can also weld alluminium. One i have the funds I will be making a custom Turbo/short runner intake for my 16v shirocco.

Depending when the GTG is I can maybe make it with my kids . wife is out of town . I would have to drive my Saleen mustang this time . Maybe Saturday night . It will be a good chance for me to meet some other Vdub owners.

It's looking like the suspension thing with strictlyea isn't going to be this weekend unless im reading it wrong haha. But what do we have for idea's? anybody have a place where we could have a BBQ or maybe meet up some place get lunch and hang out? throw some ideas out there

I would have done it for half that . I have been waiting for my career change to start and I sudenly have a lot of time on my hands . And cash has been getting pretty tight . Just got done installing ME24v coilovers on his car . He is a great guy and a sweet ride . The coils mad for a nice ride and it looked great when he drove off heading home . Only has to get it aligned now

big thanks to Wes he took a good 5 hours out of his day to help me put in my coils. After we figured everything out it went pretty smooth haha. He's got a nice sciracco he's building too, if anyone ever needs help im sure he would be willing to help hes

Kids stayed up all night at the church lock in so they were sleeping hopefully I can get to a GTG soon . Got my timing /water pump pparts in today so I should be getting the scirocco done soon until the turbo build.
