    Now that it's running great it's time to combat the heat, any body running Samco or like hoses on their swap? Which should I pull the trigger on?

    You really shouldn't have any extra heat buildup if you did everything correctly and your cooling system is working correctly.

    I see, my radiator could be clogged or wrong hose to wrong connection piece, however I do like the look of them, and would still like to know which pieces to order. However, my fully built bottom end, driving habits, and 80 deg weather in April don't help the heat either.

    still tho, a VW cooling system, in good working condition, will cool the HOTTEST of hotrod engines no problem.. an aba with a JH head aint even much warmer than a stock engine, so a stock cooling system should be just fine.. if its not, then you have OTHER issues..
